Is somebody watching you?

Just visited the new exhibition of Tate Modern: Exposed: Voyeurism, Surveillance and the Camera.

An exhibition that made me feel a bit of uneasiness. It is strange but I had a feeling of being accomplice with the other viewers. We became voyeurs. We were offered to look at things we shouldn’t look. Sexual images, private moments, people suffering and we were there looking at them. Looking at the product of the hidden cameras. Looking at people who will never know we looked at them.

Is this a crime? People are always curious about the others life. Searching for other people stories is a way to create a story for yourself.
